Heather is a self-taught photographer who has taken wildlife and plants on every continent - tackling anything from a water flea to a whale. Her great passions are mammals, plants and macro. 

This site has something for everyone - galleries to browse, news with a photo and a tip of the month, a diary of Heather's lectures, workshops and tours, the gear she uses with FAQ's about her gear, articles about Heather, articles by Heather and a chronology of the highlights of her full life, useful links and a shop. In one of the banners, hawk-eyed visitors will spot her distorted self-portrait reflected in foam bubbles beached in New Zealand.

During the last year I have been busy working on a new e-commerce Natural Visions site. Once this has been launched, I then intend to devote time updating most of the sections on this site.
