Heather is equally at home working at the poles or in the tropics. Before she
became a photographer she graduated in zoology and then worked as a marine
biologist. She has a large network of biologists and naturalists whom she can
approach for local up-to-date information about the best place and optimum time
for specific subjects. Whether taking a macro shot or an elusive animal, she is
able to illustrate scientific topics with an artistic flair.
